Genesis

It's been a while, but it's not like I haven't been reading my Bible.

Most recently, I've been reading the book of Genesis. This is because I've bought a DVD series on Genesis from The Teaching Company. The series comes in 12 episodes the first three of which are narrated in the stiffest possible manner, but the rest are much better and all are very informative. One of the benefits of the series is that the narrator/speaker pointed out several versions of the first five books of the Bible that I brought and have been reading with great profit. I'll be discussing those versions here and the insights I've gained (or think I've gained).
